A few days back I had heard that the apples were coated with wax to improve their shine and extent their shelf-life. Recently on my routine visit to a market and tested it myself and found it to be true. I thought of sharing this imformation with all the readers. Pleases don't eat the skin of the apple if it's coated with wax. Do check before you eat. If you wish to test it by your self, lightly scrap the skin of the apple with help of a knife or a blade.
